Notably, 10% of these NFTs are special edition collectibles that grant holders the privilege of redeeming a box of physical items from the collaborative fashion collection.
All NFTs are minted on the Cronos chain, a blockchain supported by Crypto.com.
The physical fashion items are slated for release next week.
What is Paris Saint-Germainâs crypto strategy?
The collaboration builds on Paris Saint-Germainâs strategic moves into the crypto space, including the launch of a crypto fan token in collaboration with Socios.com.
The club has previously engaged with NFTs, distributing artificial intelligence (AI)-generated posters through Crypto.com, despite regulators in countries like the UK warning soccer clubs against the use of fan tokens and NFTs.
One of the clubâs stars, Kylian MbappĂ©, further extends the clubâs reach into the NFT space as a brand ambassador for Sorare, an NFT fantasy soccer game.
